Students Taking Active Roles! That’s what it means to be a STAR here at LBC! In our second year of our STAR Performing Arts Camp, we’re going virtual, and couldn’t be more thrilled about the opportunities this will present. While we would all love to be creating in person, having this summer’s camp be virtual gives campers the chance to connect with STARs living in different places. It also means that we have a lineup of highly skilled and passionate guest artists and coaches from across the country, who are ready to share their love for the arts and activism with our campers!

All campers will walk away with specialized artist training such as:

One on One Enrichment Coaching - working privately with LBC coaches to insure students are performing at their optimum level.

Character Development - bringing characters to life through movement, reflection and various renowned practices.

Vocal Technique - learning healthy ways to utilize students’ vocal instruments through proper breath support, alignment, and control.

Monologue Work - exploring a character’s point of view through observation, table work / discussion, writing, and performing noteworthy pieces.

Training Days

Movement Mondays - Let’s get our blood flowing on Mondays before taking a deep dive into our artist training. With coaches whose movement inspires, we will dance the morning away at the top of each week.

Tune-Up Tuesdays - A day devoted to tuning up our music and acting skills. Students will get the chance to work with coaches who are passionate and knowledgeable in their fields.

Workshop Wednesdays - On Wednesdays we wear pink! Just kidding...but we do work and chat with guest artists currently working in the theatre and film industries, gaining insightful perspectives along the way.

Thrilling Thursdays - Choose Your Own Adventure! STARs craft their own day utilizing the practices and techniques that were taught throughout the week.

*We would never want cost to interfere with a child’s ability to attend any LBC programming. Please note in the registration form if you may need financial assistance.
